Podcasts downloaded on Iphone are playing too fast. Any suggestions?

Start playback of a podcast and at the right-hand side of the screen, near the top, I suspect there will be small blue button reading 2x. Press it and it will change to ½x, press it again and it will switch to 1x and go white. Your podcasts should now play at normal speed until you decide to use the feature again.

For an audio podcast hold the iPhone in portrait mode and you should be able to find the control as highlighted in red below.
